Alternative Routes - How You Can Benefit From Using Them

      Friday, March 14th, 2008

This is an ancient topic but it will never die as it keeps giving battle to all us who try to look for the best options when it comes to flying. There is really no exact methodology to know how much an alternative route will benefit with your flight.

If you are going to travel to any destination in the world, many times it will happen that a direct flight will not be the best option relative to the price. I have written a lot about alternative airports but there is a big difference between an alternative airport and an alternative route. When we speak about airports we mean those ones that are placed near to the one where we would take the direct flight to. And near means a maximum of 100 Kilometers, to set an example.

You Could Be A Cowboy Too!

      Tuesday, February 26th, 2008

There is a need to go out and find yourself. Many people will go sip some fruity drink on the beach, while some will work hard trying to find themselves in the open range. There are some people who will pay to go play a cowboy role on a ranch in the open country so that they can have a rewarding vacation. The best part about this type of vacation is that you can leave the busy city life, leave all the pollution and technology, but also get away from all the busy, hectic part of business.

      Tempted To Cruise Through Life?

      Sunday, February 24th, 2008

Cruise is a relaxing word. You imagine deck chairs, ocean breezes - and no responsibilities. The word lets your thoughts drift at sea - unless you’re my husband.

John feels confined on ships, he feels confined in the tuxedo he’s expected to wear to formal dinners on board and he can’t be conned into feeling fine about it.

When in doubt - or you can’t get your way - compromise. We compromised by sailing on a small ship - eighty passengers, casual dress and one seating for meals with a set menu.

      Living In A Campervan

      Friday, February 22nd, 2008

Following a recent article I wrote about living wild in the so much civilized environment that we suffer today, I wanted to specifically focus on an idea that I introduced but did not explore to the very end of it.

There are multiple possibilities that we have to escape from the normal living conditions that so many stress and depression problems cause. Two of the most typical ones are living in a campervan, and living in a boat. While I think that the possibility of living in a boat is one that really applies to very few people (even if I know some of them and you they’re very interesting people) the idea of living in a camper should apply to everybody.

Cheap Flights - A Good Search Engine To Save Time

      Monday, February 18th, 2008

Search engines are not made to find the cheapest flights. The cheapest flights will only be found looking at the offers that every specific company has in place in their Hot Deals section or at bidding places such as SkyAuction.

I know it is not the kind of start you were expecting from an article where I am supposed to promote a search engine, but I just want to be sincere with you. This is not the best solution.

Proper Preparation For Hiking And Outdoor Vacations

      Friday, February 15th, 2008

Preparing for outdoor vacations requires some forethought as far as items you will need. If hiking is on your itinerary, selecting a good pair of boots is a worthwhile investment. Poor quality boots can make hiking a less-than-pleasant outdoor travel experience. On the other hand, a good pair of boots can give you the comfort and support to successfully hike any trail.

A long hike places a lot of stress on your ankles and feet which is transmitted through your legs. It can eventually affect your entire body, particularly your back. Yes, blisters are a discomfort but poor quality boots can cause problems far worse. It is important to have a solid base providing the support your entire body needs.
