Cheap Flights - A Good Search Engine To Save Time

      By admin | February 18, 2008

Search engines are not made to find the cheapest flights. The cheapest flights will only be found looking at the offers that every specific company has in place in their Hot Deals section or at bidding places such as SkyAuction.

I know it is not the kind of start you were expecting from an article where I am supposed to promote a search engine, but I just want to be sincere with you. This is not the best solution.

Having this clarified, for the ones that really have no time and want to find a quick alternative to buy their flights in a way that probably is not the cheapest but can find a more or less good deal in very few seconds, I must say that it exist a search engine that puts together the other search engines plus all the existing important airline companies.

Its name is Qixo, it does not figure between the most known search engines, but basically it will put together all the searches you can do with Cheaptickets, OneTravel, Travelocity and Priceline in one single operation.

You will notice that instead of being given the results after waiting for 10 seconds or so, you will be given a countdown of 70 seconds. When this happens, the first results will be showed, and another countdown will start at same time to show more results. In general, in the first results you already will find the first flight on the top of the page as the cheapest, but you can just let the engine perform the complete searching and that way you make sure it was nothing left behind.

You can also use it in the same way as other travel engines in order to find accommodation, cruising, holidays packages, etc. You can also get affiliated to the system, and get some commissions from travel of people that books through your affiliate URL, which I wouldn’t recommend either, as in the end people will discover that search engines are very good looking but never do what you want them to do.

Simply, choose this method if you are in a hurry, and use it if you are one of those that wants to keep with search engines to death. You will have the same result if you look one by one to all the others. At least with this one, you will save a bit of time. All I can say from this point is good luck to you!
