You’ve seen the ads for Sandals Resorts aimed at singles and young couples where everything is included in the price of the vacation just like a cruise but did you know that this is also a popular option for families as well?
Most of these all inclusive resorts that cater to the family are located in the Caribbean or Mexico because of the climate and access to beautiful beachfronts. These luxury resorts are geared towards the family with many planned activities for young and old alike and include all accommodations and meals.
Here are some things you can expect to find at these family friendly resorts:
Specialized programs for the children –
Ranging from infant care to the most demanding teens most resorts will have multiple activity programs suited to any aged child. These programs are usually exclusively for the kids so any adults will just have to find something else to do like scuba diving or lounging at the pool.
A variety of water sports –
Water sports like windsurfing, kayaking, sailing and snorkeling are usually available and for the more adventurous (and older) paragliding is always a fun option.

There are many resorts to choose from and they vary in price based on location and time of year so to save money you might want to consider visiting off season. This is also a good way to avoid the crowds and can give your resort that little extra exclusive feeling.
